Suicide Alertness for Everyone, Tell, Ask, Listen & KeepSafe
Trainings with safeTALK curriculum provide a community-oriented suicide alertness that addresses recognition and referral gaps. After completion of the 3.5 hour training, participants will have the ability to recognize a person at risk for suicide and know how to connect them with a person trained in suicide first aid intervention or similar resources to keep the individual safe. safeTALK was developed by Living Works of Canada. Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
ASIST is designed to help caregivers become more willing, ready and able to help persons at risk. Suicide can be prevented with the help of prepared caregivers. Just as CPR skills make physical first aid possible, training in suicide intervention develops the skills used in suicide first aid. ASIST is a two day interactive workshop designed to help caregivers recognize risk and learn how to intervene to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. ASIST was developed by Living Works of Canada.
